Government Arts and Science College Kadayanallur is a Co-Educational Institution affiliated to MS University. It was established as Manonmaniam Sundaranar University Constituent College on 11.08.2012 at kumanthapuram with five UG programmes namely B.Sc(CS), B.Sc(Maths), B.A (English), B.B.A and B.com with a total strength of 276 students. In the year of 2017, college had an enormous growth by introducing 4 PG courses namely M.Sc(CS), M.Sc(Maths), M.A(English) and M.Com.
The college has been shifted to its new own building at kadayanallur in the academic year 2018-2019 and one more UG programme B.A(Tamil) was introduced. The college has been undertaken by Tamilnadu Government on 11.12.2020 and it was renamed as Government Arts and Science College. Currently the college runs with 6 UG courses and 4 PG courses with a total strength of 1229. The college aims at training young men and women to identify their academic potential and realize it by preventing a conducive environment. The college is also committed to character building and imparting sound values in the formative stage of students development.
